What to See & Do
The Daniel Boone Homestead (DBH) maintains 579 acres of land and recreational space, preserves a number of historic structures, and offers yearlong historical programming for visitors of all ages. Explore all there is to see and do! And make sure to check out our new virtual tour on the bottom of this page!
The DBH's visitor center is handicap accessible. The Historic Area is accessible via an unpaved gravel path and the Boone House features a number of narrow stairs, limiting wheelchair mobility.
Please call in advance to discuss any special needs.

In addition to the virtual tour, photographer and videographer John Secoges shot a video of the 1st Pa Regiment of the Continental Line during one of their shoots at the Homestead. The 1st Pa is a group of reenactors who demonstrate flintlock shooting at the Homestead about once a month. Please note: the rifle range is not open to the public for shooting.
