Scheduling
Any school or scout group planning to visit the Homestead needs to schedule at least two weeks in advance. Once a date is reserved, we will send out a confirmation letter and some suggestions for pre-and post-visit activities. We also offer a twelve-minute video, The Life and Times of Daniel Boone, for groups to watch prior to their visit.
Facilities
For your convenience, we have several large picnic and camping areas available. Also – don’t forget to check out our Visitor Center for rest rooms, a small gift shop, and a bookstore.
