From the West:
(Harrisburg Area)

  • Take Route 76 East (PA Turnpike) to exit 298-Morgantown
  • Take Route I-76 North (10 miles) to the end
  • Take Route 422 East (Pottstown) 7-8 miles
  • At the intersection of Route 422 East/Route 345 (formerly Route 82), continue to Route 422 East
  • Merge into the left lane and watch for a brown sign with white letters reading Daniel Boone Homestead. Sign will be on the right-hand side of the road
  • Make the first left after the brown sign at Daniel Boone Road (route 422 is a divided highway at this point)
  • Continue straight on Daniel Boone Road at the stoplight
  • Travel ½ miles, the Daniel Boone Homestead will be on the left

From the East:
(Philadelphia and New Jersey)

  • Pick up Route 422 West at King of Prussia
  • Travel approx. 35 miles
  • After Pottstown, look for CJs Tires on the right
  • After CJs Tires, look for a brown sign with white letters reading Daniel Boone Homestead on the right
  • Make the first right after the sign at the traffic light onto Daniel Boone Road
  • Travel ½ mile, the Daniel Boone Homestead will be on the left

From the North:
(Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, & northern New Jersey)

  • Follow Route 22/78 South or Route 222 South to Route 100 South exit
  • Take Route 100 South toward Boyertown to New Berlinville / 562 West exit
  • Take Route 562 West through Yellow House (intersection of Route 562 and Route 662)
  • Continue on Route 562 for 2 miles until you reach a brown sign with white letters reading Daniel Boone Homestead
  • Make a left onto Old Tulpehocken Road
  • At “T” intersection, make a right onto Daniel Boone Road
  • Travel 2 miles, the Daniel Boone Homestead will be on the right

From the South:
(Lancaster)

  • Follow Route 222 North towards Reading to Route 422 East exit
  • Take Route 422 East approximately 10-12 miles
  • At the intersection of Route 422 East/Route 345 (formerly Route 82), continue to Route 422 East
  • Merge into the left lane and watch for a brown sign with white letters reading Daniel Boone Homestead. Sign will be on the right-hand side of the road
  • Make the first left after the brown sign at Daniel Boone Road (route 422 is a divided highway at this point)
