From
the West (Harrisburg area):
- Route 76 East (Pennsylvania Turnpike) to Exit 298 -
Morgantown
- Route 176 North (10 miles) to the end
- Route 422 East (Pottstown) 7-8 miles
- At the intersection of Route 422 East/Route 345 (old Route 82) - traffic light -
continue to take Route 422 East
- Look for a brown sign with white letters - Daniel Boone Homestead -
with an arrow pointing to the left - get in the left lane
- Make the first left after the sign - Daniel Boone Road (Route 422 is
a divided highway at this point)
- Stop light - Cross over West 422
- Travel 1/2 mile to the site
From
the East (Philadelphia and New Jersey):
- Pick up Route 422 West at King of Prussia
- Travel approximately 45 miles
- After Pottstown look for these landmarks: Merritts Doll Museum on
the right and C&J Tires on the right
- After C&J Tires, look for brown sign with white letters - Daniel
Boone Homestead - with an arrow pointing to the right
- Make the first right after the sign at the traffic light - Daniel
Boone Road
- Travel 1/2 mile to the site
From
the North (Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, & northern New Jersey):
- Route 22/78 South or Route 222 South to exit at Route 100
South
- Take Route 100 South to Boyertown to exit for New Berlinville/562
West
- Take Route 562 West through Yellowhouse (intersection of Route 562
and Route 662)
- Continue on Route 562 for 2 miles - until you see a brown sign with
white letters - Daniel Boone Homestead - arrow points to the left
- Make a left onto Old Tulpehocken Road
- At "T" intersection make right onto Daniel Boone Road - 2 miles to
the site
From
the South (Lancaster):
- Route 222 North towards Reading exit at Route 422 East
- Route 422 East approximately 10-12 miles
- At the intersection of Route 422 East/Route 345 (old Route 82) - traffic light -
continue to take Route 422 East
- Look for a brown sign with white letters - Daniel Boone Homestead -
with an arrow pointing to the left - get in the left lane
- Make the first left after the sign - Daniel Boone Road (Route 422 is
a divided highway at this point)
- Stop light - Cross over West 422
- Travel 1/2 mile to the site
